RootsTable is seeking a Sous Chef who believes great cooking begins with respect—for the ingredient, the craft, the team, and the place we call home. Reporting directly to the Chef, this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads from the kitchen, takes ownership of the details, and holds the standard even when no one is watching. We value curiosity over ego, consistency over shortcuts, and a team that makes one another better. We’re building a restaurant with a distinct point of view and an ambition to become something exceptional, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help build it with us.

Starting: $23.00 an hour

Our Entry-Level Chefs who assist with food preparation, cleaning, and station management. They are chefs-in-training, responsible for prepping ingredients (washing, chopping, measuring), maintaining high hygiene standards, and learning basic cooking techniques to build culinary skills. 

Starting: $16.00 an hour

Our Servers act as storytellers, guiding guests through the menus, meticulously pairing wines, and fostering direct interaction with chefs, often delivering a highly choreographed, intimate dining journey. 

Starting: $15.00 an hour plus Pooled Tips

Our Hosts are the first and last impression of the RootsTable experience, welcoming guests with genuine warmth, orchestrating the flow of the dining room, and setting the tone for the intimate, intentional journey that follows.

Our bartenders are craft-focused professionals who value precision, consistency, and guest experience while contributing to cocktail service, special events, and our evolving beverage program.
